HEROH Customer Emergency & Liability Disclaimer

1. Informational & Educational Scope Only

HEROH provides digital orientation, visual asset mapping, and general household education. HEROH Home Advisors are educators and digital asset mappers. HEROH and its Home Advisors are not licensed home inspectors, structural engineers, general contractors, licensed electricians, plumbers, or HVAC technicians. Nothing contained in the on-site walkthrough, video recordings, property notes, or digital hub constitutes a structural audit, code compliance inspection, safety engineering evaluation, or trade warranty.

2. Emergency Shut-Offs & Active Hazards (Call 911 First)

The HEROH digital platform, physical QR placards, and instructional video clips are intended for general orientation and reference only. In any life-threatening emergency, fire, suspected gas leak, severe structural failure, or active electrical hazard:

• Immediately evacuate the property and call 911 or your local emergency response authority.
• For suspected gas leaks, leave the premises immediately on foot before calling the utility company; do not operate electrical switches, phones, or appliances inside the home.

HEROH is not an emergency monitoring service, first responder, or dispatch entity. HEROH does not guarantee that access to digital guides will prevent injury, fire, explosion, flooding, or property damage during an emergency.

3. Visual-Only Guidance & User Assumption of Risk

Video clips, equipment photographs, and location tags represent conditions observed visually at the specific time of the orientation walkthrough. Home mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems are subject to wear, manufacturer modifications, utility changes, and trade alterations over time.

Operating Valves & Breakers: When operating manual shut-off valves, electrical disconnects, circuit breakers, or appliance resets, the homeowner or occupant assumes full responsibility and risk for their physical actions.

If a valve is seized, corroded, or requires excessive mechanical force, or if an electrical panel exhibits sparking, buzzing, or heat, discontinue operation immediately and contact a licensed trade contractor or utility provider.

4. Appliance Data, Third-Party Manuals & Manufacturer Warranties

HEROH assists in cataloging appliance serial data plates and syncing publicly available third-party manufacturer manuals, maintenance intervals, and warranty documents. HEROH does not manufacture, install, repair, or warrant any home appliance or mechanical system. HEROH makes no representations regarding the operational performance, safety, or longevity of any manufacturer equipment. All product warranty claims must be directed to the respective product manufacturer or builder warranty provider.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable state law, HEROH, Inc., its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or related to:

• Inability to access the digital platform, QR portal, or internet connection during a power outage or utility interruption.
• Failure of the homeowner or third parties to locate or properly operate any shut-off valve, switch, or mechanical system.
• Pre-existing property defects, latent building code violations, or contractor installation errors.
• Water damage, flooding, gas discharge, electrical fire, or equipment malfunction occurring on the premises.
